Developing English & Maths skills is an important part of your educational journey, as they will allow you to fully embrace all aspects of your career. Every career demands these skills in one way or another.
Whether you are learning English as a speaker of another language, or you need a GCSE or Functional Skills qualification to support your next academic or career steps, we can help.
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
ESOL classes are for speakers of English as a second language. You can improve your speaking/listening, reading and writing skills, as well as gain a qualification in English. We have a class for you, no matter your level.
Functional Skills (in either English or Maths)
Our Functional Skills courses aim to develop and enhance your understanding of, and confidence in using, English or Maths skills in relation to work.
The skills developed within these lessons will help you to gain confidence, as well as a nationally recognised qualification.
GCSE (in either English Language or Maths)
These courses are designed for people aged 19 or older who have not previously achieved their GCSE at grade 4/C or above. Some people need to achieve the GCSE qualification for their own employment or educational purposes, or to support their children’s studies. Others want to refresh their skills and improve their confidence. It may also be a requirement for university entry.
