Yeovil College University Centre congratulates all students who have recently graduated. The ceremony for the class of 2022 took place on Thursday 1st December 2022, at Westlands Entertainment Centre.

Yeovil College University Centre has the pleasure of celebrating our students’ significant success at our annual Graduation Ceremony. This year’s ceremony took place on Thursday 1st December at Westlands Entertainment Centre in Yeovil.
It has been an exceptional, unique and challenging couple of years, but through an awful lot of hard work and truly impressive levels of resilience, you have managed to achieve amazing things. Our graduation ceremony is an opportunity to reflect upon your journey and to feel incredibly proud of yourselves and what you have accomplished.

Awards & Recognition
We have recognised awards and celebrated success on behalf of the following institutions:
- The University of Plymouth
- The University of Gloucestershire
- The University of the West of England
- Pearson Education
- City & Guilds.
In addition to making the formal awards, we will also recognise a small group of graduands who have delivered above and beyond. The list of winners will not be published prior to the event and students will not be informed. Students can only be nominated by their tutor or a member of the Yeovil College University Centre community; there are strict judging criteria linked to each award and a panel who meet to review, evaluate and make a decision about the winner.
The additional awards available are:

- Wayne Minter Award for Engineering Excellence – Cameron Bell
- Outstanding Trainee Teacher or Sports Coach Award – Sandra Ling
- Creative Industries Outstanding Achievement Award – Abbey Alderwick
- Outstanding Health, Childcare and Social Work Professional Award – Carly Dunn
Frequently Asked Questions
Your entitlement is three guest tickets plus your own ticket. Additional tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis.
We can accommodate guests in wheelchairs with prior notice. Please indicate on the registration form that you have a guest in a wheelchair and individual arrangements will be made at the venue. We are not able to accommodate late requests for wheelchair spaces due to the fixed nature of the seating, so please ensure you mark clearly on the registration form if you require such a space.
We are unable to guarantee late requests due to the nature of the fixed seating arrangements at the venue. All visitors must be pre-booked.
As the ceremony is approximately one and a half hours, it may not be appropriate to bring young children. Children must be accompanied by an appropriate adult at all times, which may not be the graduand.
You should still submit your registration form by the due date. Attendance is strictly on the provision of you passing your qualification and this will be checked before tickets are allocated and posted. If you are in the unfortunate situation of not being eligible to attend the ceremony, you will be able to claim a full refund.

To give everyone the greatest possible chance of obtaining their results in time, tickets and further information will not be sent out until approximately 7-10 working days prior to the ceremony.
Your certificates will be sent directly to you from your awarding body. Please make sure that your address and contact details are up to date by contacting 01935 845454 or university.centre@yeovil.ac.uk.
There is no provision for lunch as part of the event, however tea, coffee and cake will be provided after the ceremony.
