Photography & Memorabilia
Ede & Ravenscroft are the official photographer for the University Centre graduation ceremony.
They will be operating at least one studio on graduation day. These will be open from 12:30pm. You can visit them at any time during the day, though we recommend that you visit before the ceremony to avoid lengthy waiting times.
You do not order in advance of the ceremonies. Instant proofs will be given to you in the studio when your photographs are taken, enabling you to select your favourites and to place your order either at the sales desk or afterwards via the website or by post / telephone. All packs ordered on the day will receive free wallet and mini prints with your order.
Ede & Ravenscroft offer an extensive range of products which are available to view in advance online at:https://www.edeandravenscroft.com/
Graduands will receive a souvenir Graduation Programme. Additional copies will be available at the venue for purchase.
“Class of 2020” merchandise can be purchased on the day of your graduation. Both T-shirts and Sweatshirts will be back-printed, featuring your name with the names of other graduates.

On the day of your ceremony, you must report to the marshal for your course by 2:15pm. This marshal will be identified to you at the Registration Desk.
Seats are then allocated in the order of presentation, which is by course and in alphabetical order.
It is important that you do not change seat once one has been allocated to you. Furthermore, you will not be permitted to leave during the ceremony once it has begun, except in the event of an emergency.
Light refreshments will be served at the venue. Hot and cold drinks will be available throughout the day.
After the graduation ceremony, canapés, teas, and coffee will be available to help celebrate with your family and friends.
Your first three guest tickets are assured. You will indicate on your Registration Form whether you would like additional guest tickets (e.g. two extra), which may become vacant. We cannot guarantee you will receive all the tickets you request.
Of course! Please indicate on the Registration Form that you have a guest using a wheelchair and individual arrangements will be made at the venue. Alternatively, contact the team at: 01935 845474. We regret that we cannot accommodate late requests for wheelchair spaces due to the fixed nature of the seating, so please ensure you mark clearly on the Registration Form if you require such a space.
Due the fixed seating arrangements at the venue, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate late guest requests. All persons present in the ballroom must be allocated a seat, therefore seating may become full as the date of the ceremony approaches.
Yes, as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult. Because the ceremony is planned to be ninety minutes, it may not be appropriate to bring young children. Children under two years of age do not require a guest ticket and may sit on an adult’s lap.
You should still submit your Registration Form by the due date. Attendance is strictly on the proviso of you passing your course and pass lists are checked before tickets are allocated and sent. If you are in the unfortunate situation of not being eligible to attend the ceremony, you will be able to claim a full refund.
Tickets will be sent out in the week commencing 9th October, 2020. We withhold distribution until this time in order to give each learner the greatest chance of obtaining their results in time.
Your certificate is available for collection at the venue on graduation day. If you prefer, or if your certificate is not collected, it will be sent to your last recorded address by recorded delivery. If you have not received this within four weeks of graduation day, please contact the awards team by phone at 01935 845474, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note, for some awards, you may be sent your certificate direct from the awarding institution. These award certificates are not available to collect on the day.
