How we use your personal information
We are the data controller of personal information about you. We are Yeovil College and our address is Mudford Road, Yeovil, Somerset BA21 4DR. This privacy notice has been prepared in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. In general terms your personal information is collected and shared with the DfE, the ESFA (an executive agency of the DfE) and any successor bodies to these organisations for education purposes.

We monitor the use of College IT systems and networks where necessary to:
-ensure network and information security;
-comply with safeguarding and legal obligations; and
-prevent misuse of systems.
Monitoring is carried out in accordance with our Acceptable Use and IT Security policies and is proportionate and limited to what is necessary.
If you want to browse the internet privately, you will need to use your own devices which are not linked to the College’s network or internet connection.
Your rights over your personal information

We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond as promptly as possible within statutory timelines. If you remain dissatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection matters. Changes to our Privacy Policy
We keep our privacy policy under regular review. Any changes we make to our privacy policy in the future will be notified to you by email.
