School Leavers’ Application Process

COMPLETE YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION

Complete your application form online or via hardcopy from the back of the full-time prospectus. Online is both quicker and easier for you and you’ll receive and instant response from us.

If you’re not 100% sure about which course is right for you then give our Student and Customer Service team a call on 01935 423921 or drop them an email on iZone@yeovil.ac.uk.

YOUR INTERVIEW

The next step is the interview, but this is a very informal process. We want to have a chat about your strengths and career ambitions. Be prepared to talk about yourself, and even bring along some examples of work if relevant to your course. It’s important to us that we give you an offer for the right course at the right level.

YOUR OFFER

You will be offered a place at Yeovil College. This might be an unconditional offer or a conditional offer depending upon the achievement of certain exam results. Let us know that you’d like to accept this offer – drop us an email, give us a call or complete the paper acceptance form.

NEW STUDENTS’ DAY

This is your day. You will meet your new classmates, tutors and see your new classrooms. You’ll get to experience what College life will be like here at Yeovil College.

IT’S TIME TO ENROL

In August, or even sooner, you’ll be asked to pop into College to officially enrol. We’re delighted when learners get the grades they were hoping for or even better, and in this case the process is really easy, you’ll be enrolled onto the study programme you applied for. However, if you didn’t achieve quite as well as you’d hoped, don’t panic. Come in and talk to us.

One enrolment is complete, you’ll officially become a Yeovil College student and member of our College community.
