Urgent Announcement: Final Open Event of the Academic Year at Yeovil College
Yeovil College and Yeovil College University Centre are excited to announce their final Open Event of the academic year, scheduled for Thursday 22nd May 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
This event is a crucial opportunity for Year 10 and Year 11 students, as well as adults interested in further and higher education, to explore the college’s offerings.
Additionally, Open Event attendees will be among the first to explore the new Yeovil Institute of Sport (YIS). This groundbreaking initiative, set to open in September 2025, promises to elevate sports education and training to unprecedented heights. The centre will feature state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology for Sport and UPS students, including the new A Level PE program.
Visitors will also get an exclusive preview of the emerging Construction Innovation Centre. This centre aims to revolutionise construction training in Yeovil with its state-of-the-art facilities. It will drive sustainability, enhance technical skills, and expand the possibilities for construction education in the region.
This Open Event provides a unique chance to experience one of the region’s most forward-thinking and visionary colleges. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
