RETHINK Breakfast Event Helps Students Switch Course and Career Direction
On Friday 22 September, between 8.30am-10am, Yeovil College and Yeovil College University Centre will offer a bespoke morning to help students think more clearly and carefully about their current course options, future careers and college, sixth form or university which they are currently attending, should they feel that their current choices aren’t working for them.
The RETHINK event is specifically designed for Year 12 students who might be struggling with their current circumstances and want to explore the opportunity of switching qualifications and/or colleges or Sixth Forms, and for people planning to return to higher education or to university who may be seeking a local and alternative university centre setting.
This event is ideal for those people who may be questioning former decisions or assumptions about programme, pathway, course, university or location, and will provide all students with the opportunity to take positive steps to realign their future career.
The Yeovil College team are preparing to welcome future or current students for an informal discussion over breakfast where options can be explored. All curriculum staff, the university centre team, student support and independent careers experts will be available throughout the RETHINK event. The Yeovil College Information Zone will also be present to support visitors with any applications, course changes or questions they may have.
Join the RETHINK Event between 8.30am-10am on Friday 22nd September, Da Vinci Restaurant, Kingston Building. There will be a free breakfast, but more importantly free confidential and independent careers information, advice and guidance.
