Embark on Your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Journey at Yeovil College

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) has relaunched at Yeovil College at every level – Bronze, Silver, and Gold – for all current students who are both new to DofE or who want to progress to the next level.

The DofE Award is a prestigious and highly regarded programme that offers young people the opportunity to develop essential life skills, build resilience, and make a positive impact within their own communities. Whether you are just starting your DofE journey or are already working towards your next level, the benefits of participating in this programme are immense.

The DofE Award, is a structured programme that includes four sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and an Expedition. Each section is designed to challenge and inspire students, helping them to grow in confidence, capability, and gain friendships. Completing the DofE Award is not only a personal achievement but also a valuable addition to any CV or university application, and in all cases, DofE is nationally regarded.

Rob Stuckey, Assistant Principal at Yeovil College, said: “For our current participants, we encourage you to continue striving towards your DofE goals. Your dedication and hard work is commendable, and we are confident that you will find the experience both rewarding and enriching. Remember, the journey is just as important as the destination, and every step you take brings you closer to achieving your full potential.”
