Course Overview
This advanced level study programme provides you with the skills and knowledge to diagnose and rectify a range of complex faults in transmission systems, engine area, braking and suspension. You will use the latest diagnostic equipment and research modern vehicle technologies to prepare yourself for employment or an apprenticeship in the motor vehicle industry.
Work Experience & Industry Placements
We will help you to secure an industry placement that is linked to your chosen career. At level 3 you will be required to complete 340 hrs of relevant work experience. For some of our students this has succesfully led to employment or apprenticeship offer.
Qualification Gained
Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles.

What Will I Learn

They are passionate about sharing their knowledge with the next generation of vehicle technicians.
Teaching Learning and Assessment
You will be taught and assessed through a series of theory and practical lessons. Talks by experts and industry related visits will help you gain the knowledge required to be successful.

Supportive one hour tutorial sessions are incorporated into your timetable.
Course Expenses
A course resource and equipment fee is applicable for this course. Additional fees may be required to allow for planned visits.
How Will I Be Assessed
You will be assessed through a mixture of online theory exams and practical assessments during the programme.
Entry Requirements
GCSE's at grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
Required Experience
You will need to have completed a level 2 Motor Vehicle course.
