“I was put forward for the HIP Learner of the Year competition by the college, but I believed I had the skills set, motivation and technical knowledge to represent the college in a positive way. I am really happy with myself for winning the regionals, I wanted to show myself what I am capable of and prove that I can do it. I feel very prideful, and it was nice to show off my confidence for a change.  If it wasn’t for my employer I wouldn’t be at this stage of the competition. The quality of work at my company is amazing. I am very fortunate to be at a company with such high standards. They strive for me to be the best I can and produce a high standard and quality of work.”
