ONLINE WEBINAR LAUNCHED TO SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT UNIVERSITY FINANCE

On Wednesday 20th March, 6pm to 7pm, Yeovil College University Centre is hosting ‘Student Finance Uncovered’, which is a virtual webinar dedicated to explaining how to fund university-level study.

This fully online event is free to all participants and is completely independent, so appropriate to all students considering higher-level education, whether with Yeovil College University Centre or another university provider. The event is open to current students, future students or students attending an alternative college and their parents or guardians. It is also available to any professionals within the education sector.

The webinar is also ideal for Sixth Form or college-age students who are looking at university-level study, parents and carers who are supporting a child on their journey to university, or adults looking to return to study. Participants may or may not have already applied to university, but who are considering it in the future.

Leading the event is the Head of Yeovil College University Centre and Adult Education, Sian Deasy, as well as Access and Success Coordinator, Tori Masters. There will be a focus on explaining and unpicking the myths around the world of Student Finance, including what type of support is available and how people can access them. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions you might have to our friendly University Centre team.
