GET THE EDGE AT YEOVIL COLLEGE’S FINAL OPEN EVENT OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR

For the final time this academic year, Yeovil College is opening it’s doors to future students, and showcasing it’s fanatic campus, resources and state-of-the art facilities. On Thursday 23rd May between 5pm and 7pm, visitors will be able to access the full College site, participate in taster sessions and understand their next career steps.

This event is ideal for people who find themselves in the following categories:

  • In Year 11 and haven’t yet decided on your next steps, or post 16 education and training provider.
  • If you want to have another look and ensure the decision you have made is the right one for you.
  • You are in Year 10 and want to get a head start in the decision-making process.
  • You are looking to take the next steps in your career journey, as an adult interested in further education, professional education, English/Maths or a leisure programme.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Yeovil College’s lecturing teams and support staff, who will be able to answer all of your questions. There will be opportunities to meet the Principal & CEO, Mark Bolton, and his senior team, and listen to the senior management presentation. Visiting students will also be able to get involved in activities taking place within our vocational areas across the campus.

Yeovil College offers a varied range of subjects across every curriculum area relevant to the local industry and business opportunities, providing study programmes with a clear line of sight to careers and employment opportunities. This includes A Levels, Vocational qualifications, University-level qualifications, Professional and Technical qualifications and the Yeovil College T Level offer.

In particularly, Yeovil College is proud of its apprenticeship dentistry provision (Dental Technician, Oral Health Practitioner and Enhanced Clinical Practitioner), which attracts students from across the South East, South West and Midlands to study the unique programme; a provision which also spans Level 3 to Degree Apprenticeship Level.
