First Meet the Tutor Event is launched at Yeovil College

On Thursday 15th September, parents of new Yeovil College students will have the opportunity to attend the first ‘Meet the Tutor’ event since the pandemic. 

The event, which will take place on campus between 5pm and 7pm, give parents an insight into high expectations, behaviours and attitudes, career progression and the importance of English and Maths set out at Yeovil College. This event also provides an opportunity to hear all about the exciting steps the college is taking to develop facilities, campus, technology, resources and the advancements made in teaching and learning.  

 

Tutors will introduce themselves, talk through the specifics of the study programme, set out learning expectations for the year, and answer all questions.  

 

Formal presentations will take place from Mark Bolton, CEO & Principal of Yeovil College, alongside Gayle Pogson, Head of Careers and Work Experience, and Matthew Wilkinson, Curriculum Area Manager for English, Maths and ESOL.
