FINAL CHANCE TO VIEW YEOVIL COLLEGE THIS ACADEMIC YEAR
For the final time this academic year, Yeovil College is showcasing its UK leading facilities, exceptional campus and state-of-the-art technology, through an open event and taster session. Visitors are invited to book their slot or just drop in on the evening of Thursday 23rd May, between 5.00 and 7pm.
Following on from a successful Apprenticeship and careers Fair in February, where the College saw around 800 visitors, Yeovil College and Yeovil College University Centre, are delighted to offer a further opportunity to find out more about A Levels, T Levels, Apprenticeships, Vocational qualifications and Yeovil College’s University Centre provision.
This event is ideally targeted at Year 11s taking a final look at their next step post-16 providers, however it is also commonly accessed via Year 10s and their parents, who are looking at their options, and hoping to secure early interviews for study programmes at their first choice college.
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to meet Yeovil College’s teaching team and support staff onsite, to answer your questions and also to show off the state-of-the-art facilities and showcase the 21st Century campus. There will be opportunities to meet the Principal & CEO, Mark Bolton, and his senior team, take a tour of the full campus and to apply to your study programmes of choice.
Yeovil College offers a varied range of subjects across every curriculum area relevant to the local industry and business opportunities, providing study programmes with a clear line of sight to careers and employment opportunities. This includes A Levels, Vocational qualifications, University-level qualifications, Professional and Technical qualifications and the Yeovil College T Level offer.
The College campus has seen a lot of changes over the past couple of years. They have become an Institute of Technology, one of only 12 in the whole country; achieved high A Level grades including 99% or 100% pass rate for the eighth consecutive year; the commencement of T Levels across all T Level areas has taken place; and winning a significant amount of funding to deliver higher digital skills across subjects which are most in demand; and have secured around £50 million worth of funding to build an even more brilliant college.
This is the last opportunity to visit Yeovil College before the summer period, either pre-register or just drop in on the evening.
