Exciting A Level Transition Event for Future Students at YC

Yeovil College is delighted to announce a dedicated A Level Transition Event for all applied A Level students and their parents/guardians.

This event will take place on Wednesday, 26th March, from 6-7pm, and aims to ensure a smooth and exciting transition from school to college life.

The event will cover a range of important topics, including: 

  • Expectations, Standards, and Attitude: Providing a clear understanding of what is expected from students and how they can excel. 
  • Enrichment and Elevate Programme: Introducing our bespoke Elevate programme designed to enrich the learning experience. 
  • Student Support: Introducing key members of staff who will support students throughout their journey. 
  • YC A Level Offer: Detailing our specific A Level offerings, including timetables, arrangements, and a map of Year 1 and 2. 
  • A Day in the Life: Offering insights into a typical day in the life of an A Level student. 
  • Post A Level Progression: Exploring progression options after completing A Levels. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from both the Principal and the senior leadership team, who oversee the A Level provision and ensure its smooth and successful running.
