Course Overview
Are you a college leaver hoping to start a career in Accountancy or someone who wants to re-train in Accountancy? Do you already have practical accounting experience but no formal qualifications? Then this course may be suitable for you.
The Level 2 Certificate in Accounting is an entry-level professional course for students who wish to obtain an accounting qualification.
It includes 4 modules - Introduction to Bookkeeping, Principles of Bookkeeping Controls, Principles of Costing, The Business Environment/Synoptic. It is sponsored by 3 main accountancy bodies and is an internationally recognised qualification.
Qualification Gained
After The Course
Upon completing this course, we offer progression opportunities to higher levels of the AAT Accounting Qualifications, level 3 and level 4. The course can prepare you for employment as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk, Payroll Administrator, Credit Control Assistant.
Fully funded options are available at this level through government incentive schemes and the advanced learner loan.
What Will I Learn
You will learn about the fundamental principles of double entry bookkeeping, basic costing principles, using cloud based accounting software, explore economic factors and the importance of Data Security.
