Course Overview

CIPD qualifications are perfect if you want to acquire a wide range of relevant practical skills in either Human Resources (HR) or Learning and Development (L&D). If you are looking to develop your skills as an effective HR or L&D practitioner, then our globally recognised CIPD qualification is for you. You will be taught by a practicing HR professional who can bring the course to life with real examples.

Qualification Gained

This Level 3 course is ideal if you are just starting out in HR or working in a support role and looking to gain recognition and a professional qualification.

Successful completion of the course leads to Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

After The Course

The course is comparable in level to A-level and will make an ideal first professional qualification which can be built on and provides options to study at a higher level (Level 5 CIPD).

It forms the foundation of a career within the profession, giving the base for further development through a career path within an organisation or indeed will give you the boost your CV may need to help branch out into HR.

Teaching Learning and Assessment

We believe the best way to learn is face-to-face which is why we deliver this course on a part-time basis with classes each week providing regular opportunity to discuss HR issues and approaches in a safe environment to apply the learning and develop your practitioner skills.

Our course offers the following teaching and learning:

  • Weekly classroom tuition from an experienced industry expert (up to 3 hours per week)
  • Access to a comprehensive virtual learning environment – providing additional learning materials and reading for each unit
  • Regular 121 feedback with course tutor
  • Includes one textbook – provided as a paperback

This course is assessed through written assignments and a practical mock interview exercise.

Course Expenses

Our course fee is £2,245 - Student CIPD Membership will be included.

How Will I Be Assessed

Assessment is mostly through written assignments aligned with the delivery of the course. There is an assessed mock interview element which is done as a group and is great for those with little or no interviewing experience.

Entry Requirements

Business experience and a keen interest in a career in Human Resources would be beneficial.

Required Experience

There are no specific entry requirements other than having an interest in Human Resources.
Prospective students will be invited to a short, informal telephone interview to gauge their readiness for the course.
You will be required to become a student member of the CIPD, the fees for which are included in the course fee.
