Diploma in Management and Leadership - Level 5
Course Overview
The Level 5 Management and Leadership Diploma at Yeovil College is accredited
by the Chartered Management Institute (C.M.I.), an authoritative and respected
organisation in the disciplines of Management and Leadership. The level 5
diploma will enable learners to take their management and leadership skills to a
higher level.
The diploma is ideal for the development of Operational
Managers, Divisional Managers, Departmental Managers, Regional Managers and
Specialist Managers. The qualification is aimed at benefitting practising
managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or
business owner.
The diploma gives you a fully comprehensive bank of the
skills and knowledge required to be a manager as part of an organisation, as
well as the ability to apply your learning in the context of another
organisation or industry sector. The full Diploma course is made up of 8 units
and takes approximately 12 months to complete, if you are able to study
approximately 10 hours a week. Learners who complete all eight units, will be
awarded the CMI Diploma in Management and Leadership. The diploma qualification
also forms the basis for enabling practising managers to go on and achieve
Chartered Manager Status.
