Architectural Joinery - Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship (Starting between August 2025 and July 2026)

Course Overview
To undertake this apprenticeship you will need to be employed and working with a qualified Joiner. You will complete a two year apprenticeship, attending college one day per week during term time. Over the 2 years you will further develop a wide range of skills required as a Joiner at level 3, showing knowledge and skills with responsibility for managing your own and other people’s work, as well as being required to produce complex building components by setting out, marking out and manufacturing bespoke architectural products (e.g. doors, windows, staircases with turns and panelling/cladding). Throughout the qualification you will undertake a series of exams and written assignments. On successful completion of the qualification you will move on to complete an end point assessment.

NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Wood Occupations – Architectural Joinery
After The Course
On successful completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship you can work as a fully qualified architectural Joiner. You may also seek other trade related qualifications.
English And Maths
If you do not already hold a Grade C or 4 at GCSE you will be expected to achieve a level 2 Maths and English Qualifications as part of your apprenticeship.

Course Expenses
£100 which includes your PPE and a resources kit.
Entry Requirements
Successful completion of the Architectural Joinery - Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship and be in employment with a suitable employer in the construction industry.
