Architectural Joinery - Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship (Starting between August 2025 and July 2026)

Course Overview
To undertake this apprenticeship you will need to employed and working alongside a qualified Joiner. You will complete a two year apprenticeship, attending college one day per week during term time. This course will ensure you’ll learn skills that can set you on your path to a career in the carpentry/joinery industry. You’ll be working with the latest technologies producing architectural products, such as doors, windows, units and staircases. Throughout the qualification you will undertake a series of exams and practical assessments. On successful completion of the qualification you will move on to complete an end point assessment.
Qualification Gained
NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Wood Occupations – Architectural Joinery
After The Course
On successful completion of this qualification you can progress on to the Architectural Joinery L3 Advanced Apprenticeship.
English And Maths
If you do not already hold an English or Maths qualification equivalent to level 1 you will undertake this as part of your apprenticeship and also show evidence of working towards a level 2 qualification in English and Maths.

Entry Requirements
GCSE grade E/ 2 or above in English & Maths or other relevant equivalent qualification.
Required Experience
No experience is necessary as working with your employer and attending college will ensure you gain the necessary experience.
