BA (Hons) Business Management and Strategy
Course Overview
The BA (Hons) Business Management and Strategy is a top-up programme that seeks to consolidate and to build upon your prior learning of business and management theories and concepts. The programme also aims to further develop your management skills and to enable you to apply knowledge and skills to your current and future business environments and career goals. The programme encourages the development of professional skills such as human resources, finance, leadership and managing people. The design of the programme balances intellectual and practical skills and requires you to learn through lectures, group work, reflective practice and presenting.
The programme will be delivered by Yeovil College University Centre. The duration of the course is 1 academic year for the full-time method of study and 2 academic years for the part-time method of study. This course is designed to allow students who already hold a Level 5 Business qualification, such as a HND or FdA, to 'top-up' to BA (Hons) level.
If you're looking at studying Business at university level for the first time, you would need to look at studying another qualification first. At Yeovil College University Centre, we offer the HND Business course, which can be completed first, before then topping-up using the BA (Hons) Business Management and Strategy.
