Course Overview
This introductory qualification forms part of foundation learning and is intended for learners who wish to explore their interest in the hospitality and catering sector. It will help them develop knowledge and skills towards independent living and learning and gain an insight about the industry, by encouraging them to learn, develop and practise basic catering and food safety skills and to develop relevant background knowledge required for employment and / or career progression in the hospitality sector. |
Work Experience & Industry Placements
Learners will participate in some Internal work experience within our training kitchens and restaurants, this will enable them to gain some valuable transferable skills, building resilience, confidence and vital communications skills. |

English And Maths
English and Maths will be developed alongside the programme. Learners will be expected to attend all English and Maths lessons that will be timetabled across the week. We will also embed contextualised maths relating to the hospitality industry within the course content. |
