Course Overview
This qualification is for those who wish to work as a dental nurse or
trainee dental nurse and who wish to obtain a dental nursing qualification
leading to GDC registration. The Dental Nurse role complements the role of other
dental professionals. One of the primary roles is to provide chair side support
to dental professionals and deliver a high level of patient care.

Qualification Gained
Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice of Dental Nursing. Eligibility to apply for professional registration with The General Dental Council (GDC).
After The Course
Work in a practice and provide chair side support to dental professionals and deliver a high level of patient care.
What Will I Learn
Dental Nurses may work in a variety of clinical environments. The Apprenticeship reflects all aspects of clinical responsibilities and duties of a dental nurse’s role and will provide the apprentice with the relevant qualification to apply to the General Dental Council (GDC) for professional registration as a dental nurse.
English And Maths
Entry onto this course requires Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Math's or a Grade C/4 in English and Math's.

Tutorials
An assessor will conduct 1:1 meetings on a monthly basis during your apprenticeship.
How Will I Be Assessed
Work Based Learning assessment enables the learner’s workplace practice to provide evidence for individual units, as well as the whole qualification through a portfolio of evidence.

Entry onto this course requires Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Math's or a Grade C/4 in English and Math's.
