Children & Young People's Workforce - Level 2 Apprenticeship

This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people from birth to 7 years of age with applied knowledge in the 0-5 age range. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children’s settings including early years and social care.

After The Course
This course allows progression onto the Level 3 Early Years Educator, Assistant Pre-school Workers, Assistant in Children's Centres, Assistant in Day Nurseries
What Will I Learn
The qualification is formed of mandatory and optional units. The mandatory units cover core competencies, while the optional units allow learners to choose from a variety of areas to tailor the qualification to their needs and interests, and to reflect the context of their work.
English And Maths
All learner are required to continue to study functional skills English and math's. Entry requirements are GCSE English and math's at a 3 or above.
All of our assessors and lecturers are highly qualified industry professionals, who will help guide you through the apprenticeship, allowing you to achieve your potential
An assessor will conduct 1:1 meetings on a monthly basis during your apprenticeship.
How Will I Be Assessed
Work Based Learning assessment enables the learner’s workplace practice to provide evidence for individual units, as well as the whole qualification through a portfolio of evidence.
