Course Overview
This is a knowledge only award for those who are starting their journey as an assessor, or for those who need to know about assessment practice but who are not currently practising e.g. a starting point for aspiring assessors or a professional development qualification for managers, HR or quality assurance personnel.
This qualification is made up of one unit.
This is a knowledge based unit where you have to show you have the required knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice of assessment.
This course is delivered part time over 8 weeks. Delivery and support is on a 1:1 flexible basis.

The cost for this course is £500. A course textbook is recommended for purchase at induction or available as an ebook via the Learning Resource Centre.
