Richard, Kontrolit

My partner Rachel and myself were given a guided tour around the college on Wednesday, with Amy. Firstly, a complement to the college for its amazing facilities, unique style of teaching both within the classroom setups and its methods. However, the reason for our message is to say how blown away we were with Amy’s guided tour - extremely informative, very professional but relaxed and friendly, sprinkled with a high dose of obvious passion for the college and her job. She’s the most perfect first impression the college could wish for.

Ashley Maclauchlan, A Level Student

Everyone at Yeovil College has been very supportive and helpful throughout my time here, particularly during the Oxford medicine application process. I had a mock interview and help revising for entrance exams, both of which aided my preparation. I decided that medicine was my passion just before beginning my A Levels, following some time in hospital. The NHS is an incredibly powerful asset, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.

Ellie Miller, Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice at Yeovil College

I am so glad that this apprenticeship was the path that I decided to take. My rotational Business Administration apprenticeship has allowed me to begin exploring different business support functions. This has been extremely beneficial to me as I have already gained so much knowledge and improved on many of my skills. Each department I have been to so far has been very different, but I have been supported with settling into each team. I enjoy working at the college as I get to meet lots of new people every day; all staff members have been welcoming and kind. I am looking forward to the rest of my apprenticeship and to seeing what the other departments have to offer.
