Yeovil College Celebrates Double Sporting Success

Yeovil College is celebrating an outstanding sporting achievement as both its Women’s Netball and Women’s Football teams have been crowned league champions this season. 

In a dominant campaign, the College’s Netball team finished top of their league with an impressive 27 points and an exceptional +265 points difference, demonstrating consistent performance and control throughout the season. 

The Women’s Football team also secured league victory following a highly competitive season. Finishing level on points with their closest rivals, the team claimed the title on goal difference, achieving +20 compared to +16, highlighting their determination, resilience and strong teamwork. 

This remarkable double success comes at an exciting time for sport at Yeovil College, with the recent development of the Yeovil Institute of Sport – part of the £60+ million campus transformational investment – providing students with access to high-quality, specialist facilities designed to elevate performance and enhance training opportunities. The continued investment in sport reflects the College’s commitment to developing talent and creating clear pathways for students to succeed both on and off the field.
