Luxury skincare brand ELEMIS has been named as the new product partner for Yeovil College, bringing a host of treatments for the students to learn, giving them experience of the beauty industry. Yeovil College is the furthest south that ELEMIS has partnered with, bringing more ELEMIS qualified therapists around this area.

The Yeovil Mayor, David Recardo, recently joined students at the ELEMIS product launch based within the Nexus Salon at Yeovil College. An ELEMIS sales representative also gave a masterclass to the students before the event began, which gave them more product knowledge.

The partnership will see the brand becoming an integral role of the colleges offering, which will include a host of ELEMIS treatments. ELEMIS will bring lots of valuable opportunities for students in this area who are aspiring to be in the beauty industry. Students will leave college as industry ready therapists who are ready to support the growing industry. This in turn will bring more therapists into the industry who are ELEMIS trained to answer the need of the divisions within the company for high quality trained therapists for many clients. The workforce is projected to grow by 1.2% by 2024, creating 1,100 jobs. In the same period, 35.3% of the workforce is projected to retire, creating 32,300 job openings. This gives great opportunities for the beauty therapy students, as they will be instantly employable with the ELEMIS training and experience.

ELEMIS treats over 6.5 million customers yearly, through a network of 1,600 spas and salons worldwide. It is also available on 190 cruise liners and 450 global retail stores including Debenhams, Harvey Nichols, House Of Fraser and John Lewis. ELEMIS has five BA travel Spas based in JFK- New York and Heathrow- London.
