YEOVIL COLLEGE ARE ACTIVE IN HELPING RECOVER LOCAL AND NATIONAL BUSINESS WITH NEW GOVERNMENT APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME
Yeovil College announces support of the Government’s latest pledge to support businesses in the local and national community with actively investing into the new Apprenticeship scheme.
Local and national employers, aided by Yeovil Colleges team of apprenticeship experts, will now receive a bonus grant when hiring a new apprentice until January 31st 2021. For an apprentice between the age of 16-24 the bonus to employers will be £2000 and for anyone aged 25+ the bonus will be £1500. These payments are on top of the pre-existing payments made for taking on a young apprentice. This is a national push to help rebuild and grow business productivity, as well as encourage more businesses to invest into youth and the next generation of workers.
