BREAKFAST EVENT HELPS STUDENTS SWITCH COURSE AND CAREER DIRECTION

Friday 8th October is being hailed as a day for change at Yeovil College. It is a day for rethinking and choosing something different. Students, both internal and external to Yeovil College, are invited onto site to discuss the options and opportunities available at Yeovil College, particularly if the start of year 12 is not going according to plan, nor delivering what students want.

This event is ideal for those students who may be questioning former decisions or assumptions about programme, pathway, course or location, and will provide all students with the opportunity to take positive steps to realign their future career.

Our independent careers team will be available to offer careers support, advice and guidance to students who may have found themselves on a qualification which may not fulfil their ambitions. This is a no obligation conversation for students who may wish to explore alternative options.

This is a drop-in session available to all, from 8.45am to 10.15am on Friday 8 October. There will be a free breakfast, but more importantly free confidential and independent careers information, advice and guidance.

Don’t throw this year, it’s too important.
