Supporting Young People
Wednesday 5th March – 5.30pm – 6.30pm
Our Supporting Young People event is a parent and guardian focused event to support families of young people with either an EHCP or SEND need.
Yeovil College is pleased to announce an evening dedicated to providing presentations, information, and support specifically aimed at helping young people with an EHCP and/or SEND need. This event will take place on Wednesday 5th March, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
The event will feature engaging presentations from the SENDCo, the Curriculum Area Manager for Foundation Learning, and the Student Support team. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the additional support available throughout their young person’s educational journey. Additionally, further information and advice will be available from the English and Maths team, the Enrolment team, and the Careers and Employability team.
This bespoke event is tailored for carers of young people with an EHCP or SEND need, providing the right level of support and a positive transition from school to college. Attendees will experience key presentations and have the opportunity to ask questions and receive direct answers from the highly qualified and experienced team at Yeovil College.
The evening will commence promptly at 5:30pm, so attendees are advised to allow ample time for travel and seating. The college looks forward to welcoming participants and sharing how they can work together to support the success of young people.
