Supporting Young People

If you are a parent or guardian of a Year 11 student, join us for an evening of presentations, from 6-7pm, designed to support you to support your young person through the transition into Further Education. Hear from the Principal & CEO of Yeovil College, Director of Employer Engagement, Head of Careers, Work Placement and Employability and our Head of Student Experience & Safeguarding. Let us support you, to support them.


We are thrilled to welcome you to the Yeovil College campus to learn more about how you can support your young person to transition into further education, once they leave Year 11. This event is perfect for parents/guardians of Year 11 students taking their next steps in September, or for parents/guardians of Year 10 students who would like to prepare for next year.

From 6pm-7pm you will hear from a range of speakers who will offer tips, advice and guidance on making those next steps. Following this, we will have a range of stands set up that allow you to speak directly with the teams in place to support you.
