Course Overview
L1 plumbing is a full time programme that is usually studied over one
year. Studying on this programme will develop a range of basic plumbing hand
skills and theoretical knowledge.
Work Experience & Industry Placements
Learners will complete a range of industry related activities, ranging from specific site visits, guest speakers and toolbox talks
Qualification Gained
L1 Extended Certificate in Plumbing
After The Course
This qualification will enable learners to have the opportunity to progress on to further fulltime plumbing qualifications or progression into a plumbing apprenticeship
What Will I Learn
By undertaking this qualification you will explore different plumbing installations, how water travels around buildings and all the necessary hand skills to progress in the plumbing industry.
English And Maths
Learners who do not already hold a Maths and / or English qualification at grade 4 or above will study these subjects as part of their college qualification

4 GCSEs at grade 2 (F - E) or above
