Plumbing and Domestic Heating - Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship (Starting between August 2023 and July 2024)

To undertake this apprenticeship you will need to be employed and working with a qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer. You will complete a 4 year apprenticeship, attending college one day per week during term time. Over the 4 years you will study the full range of domestic Plumbing and Heating applications, learning the associated skills, knowledge and behaviours. These include the accurate measuring, marking, cutting, bending and jointing of metallic and non-metallic pipework. You will learn the underpinning knowledge of installation procedures including bathroom furniture, pipework, controls as part of a cold water, hot water, and central heating system, above ground drainage and rainwater systems. At the end of each academic year you will undertake an exam and practical assessment. On successful completion of the qualification you will move on to complete an end point assessment.

After The Course
On successful completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship you can work as a fully qualified Plumbing and Heating Technician. There are many short courses that can also compliment your skills.
English And Maths
If you do not already hold a Grade C or 4 at GCSE you will be expected to achieve a level 2 Maths and English Qualification as part of your apprenticeship.
You will be taught and assessed by a range of our fully qualified and industry experienced staff.
£100 which includes your PPE and a resources kit.
To have an apprenticeship with a Plumbing and Heating Engineer that will meet the requirements of the qualification. You must also have GCSE grade D / 3 or equivalent qualification.
No experience is necessary as working with your employer and attending college will ensure you gain the necessary experience.
