The VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Complementary Therapies is a substantial vocational qualification for learners seeking to pursue a career as a complementary therapist. This qualification is recognised by the UK's leading professional body (the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)) as being fit for purpose for providing learners with the relevant knowledge and skills to progress to a Technical Level qualification in complementary therapy at Level 3.

Learners who complete this qualification can progress to a Technical Level qualification in complementary therapy at Level 3, these include:

What Will I Learn
This qualification includes anatomy and physiology, basic massage therapy techniques, basic reflexology techniques, basic aromatherapy techniques, healthy eating and wellbeing, clinic services and business awareness. Learners will have their knowledge and skills assessed in a real or realistic working environment.

Course Expenses
Funding assessments will be made to on an individual basis to ensure the correct fees are applied to learners.
How Will I Be Assessed
Practical assessments, case studies, written work packs and multiple-choice online exams.
Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at grade 3/4 (A to C) or above, including English and Maths, is desirable but not essential and opportunity will be given to achieve the standards required for the industry.
