Certificate in Barbering - Level 2 (Suited to people with experience)

The Level 2 Certificate in Barbering is a vocational qualification that has been designed to develop a limited number of barbering skills to a high level of occupational ability and will prepare you to enter the men's hairdressing sector as a unisex hairdresser.

This qualification includes the units in: client consultation for hair services, cutting men's hair, cutting facial hair and following health and safety in the salon.

This qualification will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to enable you to advise and consult with men on the type of haircut and facial hair shaping the way they want, but just as importantly what is suitable for them. You will also learn how to work in a safe manner throughout the service protecting both yourself and your clients.

This Barbering course requires you to already hold an up to date and current Hairdressing qualification and be still working in Industry. This course is suitable for anyone wanting to upskill to include Men's grooming. If new to the Industry with no hairdressing experience please refer to September 23-24 enrolment information.

Must hold a current Level 2 Hairdressing qualification.

This course requires you to be currently working as a hairdresser within industry with up to date Industry skills. The barbering skills learnt as part of this course are in addition to existing Industry skills already held and practised.
