This apprenticeship aims to provide learners with the skills they need as an introduction into an administration job-role. The course allows learners to develop their knowledge on understanding business environments and the main principles of business. Experience in the workplace will develop the learner to be able to complete administrative tasks including filing, answering the telephone and emails
All Business Apprenticeships are enhanced with regular Masterclasses delivered on-site at Yeovil College and also supported with virtual classroom and webinars. Full support given by monthly sessions with your Assessor and regular reviews with your employer.
You need at least two GCSEs at grade 4 (C), including English Language. If you do not have GCSE Maths or ICT at grade C, you will complete Level 1 Functional Skills ICT qualification and level 2 Maths as part of your Apprenticeship. You need to be working in a relevant workplace and have the support of your line manager/employer.
Learners who achieve Level 2 Business Admin could progress to Level 3 Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accountancy, HR or Customer Services
