HR Professionals in this role are typically either working in a medium to large organisation as part of the HR function delivering front line support to managers and employees or are a HR Manager in a small organisation. Their work is likely to include handling day to day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes, ranging from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records.
Providing relevant HR information to the business; working with the business on HR changes. They will typically be taking ownership for providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues using company policy and current law, giving guidance that is compliant and where errors could expose the organisation to employment tribunals or legal risk.
You will create a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your competence at delivering HR, participate in a project and present this at the end of the apprenticeship, You will be observed in the workplace and conduct a professional discussion giving you an opportunity to showcase your experience gained from the apprenticeship.
You need at least two GCSEs at grade 4 (C), including English Language and Maths. You must be working in a relevant workplace and role and have the support of your line manager/employer. Full support given by monthly sessions with your Assessor and regular reviews with your employer
If the End Point Assessment Organisation is chosen as CIPD, this will result in a HR Support Apprenticeship Level 3 awarded by the CIPD, which will then enable you to progress onto the Level 5 CIPD course and the associated membership that goes alongside these HR courses.
