Through the Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) Business, you can develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours ready for a role of responsibility in a business environment, such as Administrator, specialist Secretary or Clerical Officer. The course covers key areas including performance management, communication, professionalism, personal responsibility, information management, decision-making and producing documents.
This course also gives you an opportunity to par-take in a bespoke project from the workplace and this will be presented at the end of the apprenticeship alongside a professional discussion. Full support given by monthly sessions with your Assessor and regular reviews with your employer.
All Business Apprenticeships are enhanced with regular Masterclasses delivered on-site at Yeovil College and also supported with virtual classroom and webinars.
You need at least two GCSEs at grade 4 (C), including English Language and Maths. You will need GCSE or Functional Skill ICT Level 2 this can be delivered during your apprenticeship. You will also need to be working in a relevant workplace and have the support of your line manager/employer for the duration of your Apprenticeship.
With this qualification and a good workplace reference, you can progress to higher level courses, such as the Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) Management or channel your future career into Marketing, HR, Recruitment and Accountancy all available via the apprenticeship route. Your choice will depend on your job role and career ambitions.
