Yeovil College Skills Training Centres

Yeovil College recognises that many people have the desire, ambition and ability to develop and gain high level skills. Our aim it to ensure that these people receive the correct advice and support  and to provide excellent facilities and highly trained staff to enable them to reach their goals. 

For the skills where we offer training Yeovil College has dedicated training facilities.  These range, for example, from the 'Head Start' hair salon to electrical and plumbing workshops.

All Yeovil College training staff are time served tradespeople with recognised qualifications within their field of expertise. Additionally, all staff employed by us has also undergone the relevant training to provide them with the correct teaching and assessing qualifications.

We offer a range of courses so that you are likely to find one that suit you.  We offer NVQs, Entry to Employment(E2E), Apprenticeships and other national and international recognised qualifications.

Students at our skills training centres have exactly the same benefits and support as those at the main Yeovil College campus.  You will be fully supported by our tutorial system and have access to all the same resources, including our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), Fitness Centre and the Learning Centre.
