Welcome to Student Support Services.
Below there are links and a guide to the range of services on offer:
Student Support Services
The Student Support Services team provides a range of specialist support to students who want advice on aspects of general or sexual health, are experiencing mental ill health or require support for emotional, behavioural or social problems. They maintain strong links with external agencies to assist with this. Ruth is the first point of contact for students, who are unsure of which service to access, and is also the designated Safeguarding Officer. All concerns in relation to learner protection issues should be referred directly to Ruth who will then take appropriate action.

The College Chaplaincy
The College Chaplaincy service can support all faiths and is supported by volunteers from various churches within the town and other faith communities from further afield. The service is available to chat at any time to students who need a friendly and sympathetic ear. There is also a quiet room situated in the Learning Centre for anyone who wants quiet space or time out, to be quiet, still or to think.
