Angela Coward - Head of Learner Support Services

Angela manages Learning Link which provides students with a range of differing support options to aid their individual learning experience.

The Learning Link staff (tutors and learning support assistants) work across College or in the Learning Link area of the Study Centre to provide students with 1:1 or small group specialist help to enable further understanding and completion of studies. The Learning Link staff are committed to equality of opportunity for all students to be able to succeed on both academic and vocational courses.

Angela and her staff have a great deal of experience working with a wide range of specific learning difficulties and/or disabilities. They are able to offer reasonable adjustments wherever appropriate, which may include up to date assessments, examination access arrangements and specialist equipment, together with individual recommendations and strategies for alternative ways to learn.
