Learning Centre

Our spacious open plan Learning Centre at our Mudford Road campus is divided into two floors.  Each floor is designed to support different learner needs and contains a wide range of books, journals and DVDs to support your learning. 

The Centre is well equipped with over 90 open access computers, laptops and web-book for independent study. The computers have a fast internet connection and direct access to a comprehensive selection of online subscriptions and ebooks.

The Centre has full guest WiFi access throughout and a cyber cafe area where you can work or relax.

Our Centre is staffed by Learning Resource Advisors who can help in finding resources and accessing the computers. The close integration with the teaching staff ensures we provide learners with a comprehensive selection of books, ebooks, ejournals and modern, up-to-date learning resources.

Additional support is provided in the Centre by the Yeovil Connet South West Adviser and the skilled team from Learning Link.

Higher Education learners have additional acess to an elibrary at the University Centre Yeovil (UCY) campus, which is staffed every day in term time. 

Together, all the staff within the Centre, ensure your study time at Yeovil College well supported, rewarding and fully meets your individual expectations. 

Holidays - Easter and Half Terms

NB. The Learning Centre is closed during the Christmas holidays and for occasional staff development days. The UCY Elibrary has limited opening times.
