Commitment to a Better College Campaign

This campaign was launched in the Spring of 2006 with the support of the Student Council. In an attempt to make the College a better place for all of us we have issued some guidelines, incorporating Every Child Matters, on what we expect from our staff and students in terms of :-

  • Staying Safe at College
  • Keeping Healthy at College
  • Enjoying and Achieving at College
  • Making a positive contribution at College
  • Enabling students to become economically active

All students will be issued with full guidelines at the start of term but I draw your attention to the fact that all students are required to wear their ID cards at all times.
Temporary cards will no longer be issued.  If a student arrives at college without an ID badge they will be asked to return home to collect it.  Alternatively, there is an option to purchase a replacement card.  Replacement cards will be issued in the Student Services Office in A12.  Replacement cards will cost £5.  Replacement lanyards, clips and holders will be charged at £1.  

I trust that you will support us in enforcing the wearing of ID cards, which is done in the interests of the safety and security of all students and staff.
