French Intermediate

Title and Level: French Intermediate

Introduction
This course builds on your knowledge of practical and transactional French to extend your range of expression to more genuine conversational language. All four skills are developed to a greater level of complexity within the practical areas covered in the Beginners course with particular reference to use of tenses.

Entry requirements
Completion of 'Beginners course' or equivalent knowledge.

Duration
Wednesdays 18:30 - 20:30 for one academic year.

Career prospects/progression
Learners completing this course may want to go on to do GCSE French which will improve their language skills even more.

How will I be assessed?
Series of 'Practical Exercises' throughout the year. There will also be consolidation exercises and reflective activities set as homework, approximately one hour per week. No final exam.

Course Contents
The course is structured around pair work, group work, individual study and question and answer sessions.

Course fees: £252.00 (£36.00 if you are in receipt of certain benefits)
One text book (may have been bought for Beginners course).
