DaVinci Restaurant

DaVinci is a training environment that has been developed to suit a modern approach to restaurant service which is rapidly changing and reshaping within the UK industry.

It is widely used to give a realistic environment to students taking NVQ Levels 1 to 3 full time as well as the fast growing work based learning and train to gain programmes.

Also this year, is the inclusion of the Young Apprentice Programme students, undertaking the BTEC 1st Diploma over a two year period.

The Restaurant is open to the public five lunchtimes per week, and there are special evening events throughout the college year.

All this helps to give our students a valuable array of knowledge, experience, skills and understanding which will give them a great start in their chosen career.

NVQ Level 3 'Gourmet Club' Open to the public!

First and Second Year students who wish to continue to develop their skills and knowledge take the production in the restaurant kitchen one step further.

They create, cost and run a five course menu served in the DaVinci Restaurant to the public, what is fast being recognised as 'The Gourmet Club'.

So book well in advance to avoid any disappointment.

The five course lunch is £6.00.
