Leonardo Building

The Leonardo Building 

Home to our Engineering, Art, Media and Publishing faculties, the Leonardo building incorporates a number of specialist areas, including workshops, dark rooms, studios and exhibition areas.  The £5.7 million site was opened in 2007 and is also home to the new Vitruvian Cafe.

Advanced Engineering Facilities

Our modern Engineering workshops, high-tech machine tools and engineering facilities enable us to deliver teaching of Advanced Engineering in a number of key areas including: Composites, CAD, CNC and Process Control.

Hospitality Facilities 

 

Our extensive Hospitality facilities are complemented by two purpose-built training kitchens.  Here, students learn the skills they need for the Hospitality professions.  Students also train in the Da Vinci Restaurant, where they are asessed on their customer care skills and their bar and Barista skills.

5th Floor Science Centre

The Fifth Floor Science Centre at the College is an outstanding open-plan laboratory suite with computer access, supporting science teaching and learning for the 21st century. Its unique design has prompted visits from other colleges and it provides an excellent working atmosphere for our students where science can be enjoyed.

Main Hall Dancers

The Main Hall and 'The Barn' Performance Venue

Yeovil College has an excellent reputation for Performing Arts.  Drama, dance and music events take place regularly throughout the year in both the Main Hall and The Barn performance venues.  Both locations are equipped with stage, PA and lighting, offering students the opportunity to perform in a professional-style setting.
