Bursary Foundation Programme Brochure

Launched in 2004, the YCBF is administered by a small group of trustees who, generally, are governors of Yeovil College.

The YCBF gives annual bursaries of approximately £500 to hard working and economically disadvantaged students, to enable them to continue their studies at the college.

There is a rigorous selection process involving tutors, staff and governors. Great care is taken when selecting recipients and their progress is keenly monitored throughout the year.

Over the last few years the foundation has become well known locally and we are most grateful for the loyal support from individuals, businesses and the local authorities including Yeovil Town Council, South Somerset District Council, Somerset District Council and Dorset County Council.

Looking to the future, we need to increase our funds to ensure that future generations of students will benefit from the YCBF.
