Effective Customer Care
This course covers the basic principles of Effective Customer Care
including: Creating a positive impression; Effective communication including
telephone skills; Greeting customers; Effective questioning techniques;
Checking relevant facts; Dealing with the difficult customer; Handling
complaints and defusing a conflict situation.
Employment Law - Parts I & 2
Part I covers key legislation surrounding Equal Opportunities in
Employment including: Sex, Race, Disability Discrimination,
Equal Pay etc.
Part 2 looks at managing disciplinary and grievance
procedures and forming, changing and terminating a contract of employment.
Delegates may attend one or both parts of this programme.
Minute-Taking Skills
This course is designed to build confidence and develop the skills necessary
to take notes and produce minutes of meetings. Topics include: Active
listening skills, Note-taking and Summarising; Layout of agenda and minutes.
Delegates will actively participate in a meeting, take notes and write a full set of minutes.
Managing Effective Meetings
This course highlights the importance of setting manageable agendas
with clear objectives; develops strategies for holding more effective and
productive meetings and suggests techniques for dealing with unhelpful digressions.
An Introduction to Project Management
This course will provide an introduction to Project Management including:
Planning, starting and directing a project, Controlling a stage of a project,
Managing delivery and closing a project.

This course is suitable for anyone operating within a sales environment with
responsibility for achieving sales, referrals or appointments on the telephone.
