Important Information
All students must obtain signed, written informed consent from the client prior to carrying out any treatment.
Ensure that informed and signed parental or guardian consent is obtained for minors prior to any treatment.
To ensure a parent or guardian is present through out the treatment for minors under (sixteen) 16

G11 Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business

- Direct observation of the candidate in the workplace
- Witness testimony by colleagues and line managers of the candidates successful performance of activities in the work place

H32 - Contribute to the Planning and Implementation of Promotional Activities
- Contribute to planning and preparation of promotional activities

B20 – Provide Body Massage Treatments
- Maintain safe and effective methods of working when providing body massage treatments
- Consult, plan and prepare for treatments with clients
- Perform manual massage treatments
- Perform mechanical massage treatment - G5, Audio Sonic and Infra-red
- Provide after care advice

- You will be observed on at least four separate occasions each on four different clients, which must include two full body massage treatments incorporating the face. One of the full body massages must incorporate the use of mechanical massage and infra red treatment.
- All students to practice all level 2 treatments (ongoing throughout the course)
B13 – Provide Body Electrical Treatments

- Consult, plan and prepare for treatment with the clients

- Five assessments to complete using (3 clients not 5)

B14 – Provide facial electrical treatments

B15 - Provide single eyelash extension treatments
- Maintain safe and effective methods of working when providing single eyelash extension treatments
- Consult, plan and prepare for the treatment with clients
- Attach single lash systems
- Maintain and remove single lash systems
- Provide after care advice

You will be observed on at least three occasions each involving a different client which must include
- a full set of single lash extensions
- a partial set of single lash extensions
B29 Provide electrical epilation treatments
- Maintain safe and effective methods of working when providing electrical epilation treatments
- Consult, plan and prepare for treatment with clients
- Carry out electrical epilation

- Alternating current and blend

- Six separate occasions at least four different clients these must include two observations each for upper lip, chin and bikini line
- All students to practice all level 2 treatments (ongoing throughout the course)
Extra courses will be run throughout the 12 month programme, which will entail an additional cost
eg: Bellitas spa detox body wrapping course 1 day £35.00
Environ Skin Care training 1 day. Stage 2
Jane Iredale Stage 1 and 2 make-up training, and refresher training.
1 day Advanced Nutrition Training
Work experience: 1 week at a professional salon or spa to be organised by the student, dates will be given.
1 week to be organised through holiday term time.
