This apprenticeship gives learners the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to deliver customer service in a range of industries and contexts. Learners will understand what drives customer behaviour and what creates customer retention. Learners are also given the opportunity to explore excellence within customer service, dealing with more challenging scenarios such as complaints and stakeholder engagement.
The objective of this qualification is to accredit and develop learners’ skills and knowledge so that they can operate in a wide range of customer service environments including retail, hospitality and catering, leisure travel and tourism. You will create a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your competence at delivering customer service, be observed in the workplace and conduct a professional discussion giving you an opportunity to showcase your experience gained from the apprenticeship.
All Business Apprenticeships are enhanced with regular Masterclasses delivered on-site at Yeovil College and also supported with virtual classroom and webinars. Full support given by monthly sessions with your Assessor and regular reviews with your employer
You need at least two GCSEs at grade 4 (C), including English Language. If you do not have GCSE Maths at grade 4 (C), you will complete Level 2 Functional Skills. You will need to be employed in a relevant workplace and have the support of your line manager/employer.
Learners who achieve Level 2 Customer Services could progress to Level 3 Customer Services, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accountancy, HR or focus a career in Retail or Recruitment also available at level 2.
